Overview

This feature shows profitability for an entire organisation ("account"). The following example explains how it differs from the Customer Level Profitability which shows a list of all of an Account's customers for one time period compared to Company Level Profitability which shows profitability for one Company over a many time periods.

Example

ACME Co (account) is an MSP that tracks their revenue, cost and profit by month at total amount. With this feature, profitability can be aggregated by month, quarter and also year. This feature does not show the breakdown of the profit by the individual customers of ACME Co.

Navigation

You can navigate to the Company level gross profitability two ways:

  • > Home > Account Management > Profitability > Account Profitability

  • > Navigation Panel > Profitability > Account Profitability

Assigned Accounts Filter

You can see the account profitability for "All Accounts" or just for your own "Assigned Accounts" for that time period.

Timeframe-filter

You can view the gross profitability for an account by different time periods:

  • By Month

  • By Quarter

  • By Year

Cost Member Rate & Override

Similar to the Customer Profitability page, you can see the average cost member rate here to provide you some context on your labour costs.

By using the "override" field, you can model the impact on your profitability by entering a different cost rate. This will help you make better decisions about your overall profitability.

Chart

The chart shows you:

  • Total Revenue (grey bar)

  • Costs (red bar)

  • Profit (blue line)

You can also see any specific data point:

> Hover over the chart > See the tool tip data point for the specific time period

The dotted line bar shows for a time-period that is not yet complete.

Table

The table displays the revenue, cost, profit and profit percentage grouped by the selection of time frame (grouped by month, quarter, year).

CSV Export

You can also export the table into a CSV file by clicking on the Export CSV button.
